QTH/P #2
My VHF QTH/P #2 is in JO70QP, about 20 kilometers from my base QTH. This location is about 700 mtrs a.s.l. and can be described as a flat hill, surrounded by numerous hills all around. Not too far is a contest location in JO70LR. JO70PO is right around the corner too. Unfortunately, there is no source of electricity anywhere near and so I am and always will be limited with the amount of power output.
The Krkonose Mts range blocks the north-eastern directions into SP as the difference in altitude is about 800 meters on average. There is a decent opening into SM and OZ and the entire DL is within reach without any problems. The same is true for OE, I, and HA. The east is slightly overshadowed by the rising horizon of the Krkonose Mts.
